Women Elect pledge to stop bullying.
We, the Media, Candidates, Campaign Staff and Members of the Public:
Pledge,
- to stop attacking public figures personally in public debates, discussions and advertisements.
- to offer comparisons and contrasts on the issues only
- to call out any personal attacks when we witness them, and ask that they be stopped.
We are committed to discussing the merits of the issue, not the personalities, appearance, or value of the individuals that are public figures.
We believe that it is a fundamental right of every American to hold and express their own personal beliefs and we pledge to support that right.
